Practical information

On this page you will find out all you need to know about visiting Het Palet. If you have any further questions, please give us a call on [tel] (Mon thru Fri from 09.00 to 12.00) or email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Make sure you have the following documents with you

1. Your obstetrician’s completed ultrasound form.
2. Your insurance card or insurance policy.
3. Valid ID (because of the legal obligation to carry ID).

Note

Your ultrasound operator needs to fully concentrate on you and the test. Therefore, you are kindly but urgently requested to bring no more than ONE person with you and preferably DO NOT take children to the ultrasound test.

Additional visual material

Inside the ultrasound room you may not take pictures or make recordings. It is why Het Palet offers you the possibility to buy a USB stick (€7) on which we have saved additional visual material of your ultrasound. (At the moment this is only possible in The Hague.)

Costs

Your company insurance will usually pay for all the medically required ultrasounds. In most cases Het Palet will be able to send the invoice directly to your healthcare insurer.

Note:

At the moment the healthcare insurer does not pay for combined tests performed on pregnant women who have not reached the age of 36. If you are < 36 year and you wish to have a combined test, then you are kindly requested the pay the amount by switch card (€167,97) at the desk.

Complaints

If you wish to complain about the test, you should discuss matters with the ultrasound operator who performed the test. If you are still not satisfied, you may address the complaints committee of the Royal Dutch Organisation of Midwives (in Dutch: KNOV).
