Being pregnant is a beautiful thing, but unfortunately getting pregnant does not always happen easily. Would you like to have an insight into your cycle and know when your most fertile moment is, or does it take longer than you had hoped to become pregnant and you want clarity for that reason? We can offer a fertility ultrasound.

How does this work?

With the help of a number of internal ultrasounds, we can show your cycle and indicate when and if ovulation occurs. This is how we can determine the most fertile moments, but also possibly discover that the cycle is different than usual.

Usually, 3 to 5 internal ultrasounds are necessary in order to obtain a complete picture of the cycle/follicle maturation and to be able to give clear advice.

During these ultrasounds, the ovaries are examined and the follicles are measured. The thickness of the endometrium, which is very important in the whole process, is also measured.

We prefer to make these ultrasounds vaginally, so that we get the best possible images. The costs for this are not reimbursed by the health insurer, view our rates here. You will be given an invoice after the ultrasound.
